Chimney Fire in a Bristol Home

Especially during the cold season, flues and chimneys must be checked for safety and functionality. When smoke, exhaust, and heat cannot vacate the chimney, the result is this first photograph. The smoky residue coated the interior of this great room area; fortunately, the homeowners quickly extinguished the fireplace flames to mitigate the damage. We set up hydroxyl generators to reduce the annoying and unhealthy smell and smoke particles that were floating in the air. We worked on wiping down the walls and contacted a partner to repair the damaged flue to ensure safety. We moved out the furniture for cleaning and managed to salvage all the personal possessions much to the joy of the owners. "Like it never even happened."
