Kingsport Condominium Commercial Flooding
The main water line feeding this condominium building burst and spewed several hundred gallons of water onto the below ground level storage area adjacent to the underground parking area. The water was clean, but it significantly damaged interior partitioned storage compartments. We used a portable sump pump and other devices to extract the many gallons of water, demolished and tossed the water damaged drywall, and then proceeded. Our goal was to quickly capture the excess moisture trapped in this confined area by using air movers, and dehumidifiers; several pieces of equipment are pictured here. We salvaged the studs and limited the material damage to the condo thereby reducing the costs to the association and its insurance company.
